FAITHWALKERS
Friday, August 1, 2008 @ 2:57 PM
hey guys. :D

like every other morning there'll be a devotional message given, either by a teacher, pastor from St John's Chapel, or even a student.
today's devotion was about God Being There For You.
he says in the Bible,
"I will never leave you nor forsake you."
and, it's true.
He's always there no matter what.
He cares about every tear you shed.
when youre in pain, so is He.

so it's just up to you to open up to him ;D
"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you"
point is, cast your cares upon Him.
whenever you feel like youre all alone,
see.
friends may not always be there.
friends can fail you.
i'm not saying dont trust your friends.
it's just that, they may fail you.
you never know, right?

but God never will.

later on today we had LIFE session lined up for the friday assembly.
so some team from the Pacific Islands came over to dance for us and share their culture.
bytheway, i was really glad cos they were from NEWZEALAND. :D
and it was nice, just watching them perform.
later on the so-called leader said something before he and the rest danced the last item.
"all these dances are meant for one thing: to worship the Lord."
isn't God great?

later on the pastor from St. John's came over to share a message, relating to the Polynesian Team.
he said this:
"These people can come and share the love with us, because God loved them first."

to sum up:
God cares about everyone of us, and it's up to us to open up to him. Let's play our part as christians and make full use of the little talents he has given us, to develop them into glorifying Him. We have experienced His love; let's share it with the world(:

LET'S SHARE THE JOY. :D

bytheway, i really enjoyed Evangelism last Sunday(:
AHH SO NICE.
AND SO FUNNY HAHAH.
lol.
siao liao.

let's thank God for seeing us through the week.
blessed weekend, see you guys on sunday!
:D

xoxo,
ILOVEYIWEN.
